Our Use of Your personal data and Other Information
Sumsy and its Related Companies may use this information to communicate with you regarding the Services or to tell you about services we believe will be of interest to you. Our Disclosure of Your Personal Data and Other Information
Sumsy is a centralized, curated matchmaker enabled to share personalized offers or “Wishes” (demands for goods and services generated via Sumsy) with the producers and/or vendors. We consider a process of creating users’ wishes being a vital part of our relationship with you. Upon your explicit consent your Personal data may be attached to the concerned wish should you desire to be reached by producers/vendors. Consequently, there are certain circumstances in which we may share your Personal data with certain third parties without further notice to you, as set forth below.:
- Business Purpose: Users receive monetary credits in consideration of creating wishes and matching them with vendors/producers or similar businesses which are engaged in demand generation activity. For this purpose, Personal data accompanying the created wish may be shared upon provision of explicit content.
- Business Transfers: As we develop our business, we might sell or buy businesses or assets. In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, dissolution or similar event, personal data may be part of the transferred assets.
- Service Providers and Related Third Parties: Sumsy, like many businesses, sometimes hires other companies to perform certain business-related functions. Examples of such functions include mailing information, maintaining databases and processing payments.
- Legal Requirements: Sumsy may disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Sumsy, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Services or the public, or (iv) protect against legal liability.
How We Protect Your Information
The security of your information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) as part of our service, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
Sumsy uses commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information, once we receive it. For example, we continuously and regularly back up your data to help prevent data loss and aid in data recovery. No method of electronic transmission of storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot ensure or warrant the absolute security of any information you transmit or store in the Service.
You may request that we delete your account, and any information associated with your account, but please note that we may be required (by law or otherwise) to retain certain information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete your information, it will be deleted from the active database but may remain in our archives.
Our Services are not designed for and are not marketed to people under the age of 13 (“minors”). We do not knowingly collect or ask for information from minors. We do not knowingly allow minors to use our Services. If you are a minor, please do not use our Services or send us your information.
